    Service is a type loadbalancer. It routes ( load balances)  to pods having same label, with selecter label of Service.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Types of Services:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;ClusterIP

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;It balances service running in same nodes.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;


&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;NodePort

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;It balances pod running in multiple nodes.
 - LoadBalancer&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;It interfaces with external load balancer provided by Cloud service.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

    Kubernetes is used for managing/orchestrating/update/delete  containers in a cluster of nodes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Why do we need it?&lt;br&gt;
  We need kubernetes for managing/deployment containers in various nodes. It make system downtime to around 1 sec. It will reduce manual intervention to make system up.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;How it works?&lt;br&gt;
   It works on Master/Slave architecture.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What are the components of Master?&lt;br&gt;
apiserver,controller,controller-manager,scheduler&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What are the components of Worker?&lt;br&gt;
kubelet,kubeproxy,&lt;/p&gt;
