What is Agent?

Agent is the daemon which requires collects the data & monitor the services

How to install Agent?

Windows: Install the agent using API number and check the region before we proceed.

Linux : Copy the URL with API number for respective OS.

How to configure agent?

On Datadog console --->> Click on Integration ---> agents and select the respective platform and install the agent using the API number

Location of Agent in windows?

C:\ProgramData\Datadog

observability helps Dev & ops perspective to effectively monitor, troubleshoot and debug the application & Infra level issues.

Why observability is important?

To maintain current complex Application arch running on cloud-native , microservices, Docker containers, Kubernetes technologies observability is more important.

Using Key pillars Metrics, Traces, Log & events observability can be performed.
