We need Kubernetes because it offers an efficient way of working with containers, it has a wide range of functionalities and can be used essentially by anyone regardless of whether they are using compute engine. They offer a wide range of advantages, with one of them being the combination of various tools for container deployments, such as orchestration, services discovery and load balancing.
